Silk Road Princess Dress

The Silk Road Princess Dress is handmade in Uzbekistan using genuine silk.

Meet Zuhra from Tashkent Uzbekistan, she is a widow with 3 children.

Because jobs are not available in Uzbekistan, her husband traveled to Russia to look for work in order to provide for the family. Sadly, he became ill and died due to the lack of medical care. His remains were brought back to Tashkent to be near Zuhra and the family.

Zuhra desires to be able to provide for her family in order to keep the kids fed and in school. She is not looking for charity or a handout but does struggle to make ends meet on her own. Her only income at this time is in making these doll clothes and and quilts as a result of recently joining a local quilting workshop.
